Candle Safety Tips         

....  Only burn candles when they can be kept under constant, adult supervision.
....  Keep candles at least 12 inches from anything that can burn, away from
       flammable liquids, and away from spots where they could be knocked over.
....  Use a flashlight, not a candle, for emergency lighting.
....  Make certain the candle holder is big enough to collect dripping wax.
....  Extinguish taper & pillar candles within two inches of holder AND votives & filled
       candles before the last half inch of wax starts to melt.
....  Never use a candle for light when checking pilot lights or fueling equipment such
        as a kerosene heater or lantern.  The flame may ignite the fumes.
