 HAVE A CLAIM?

should you experience a loss, be certain to take all reasonable steps to protect your property from further damage  AND  report the loss to your agent immediately…even if you don’t have all of the information available! 

The following is a checklist of the information you’ll need when reporting your claim:

	Your Name & Address
	Name & Phone # of the person to contact to discuss the claim
	Date and Location of the Loss
	Description and Cause of the Loss
	Your Policy #
	Police or Fire Report, including the report # and precinct responding
	Approximate Dollar Amount of the Loss (if known)

A claims adjuster may be assigned by the insurance company to assess the damage to your property.  Anything you can do to cooperate in the adjustment process will help towards expediting settlement.
