What should be considered when attempting to determine replacement costs of insured properties?

In the wake of the war in Iraq and natural disasters, construction costs (particularly the cost of building materials) have risen rapidly over the past year.  These increased material costs affect building repair and replacement costs.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
     Wholesale Lumber  increased 14%
                  since Aug. 29, 2005 (Katrina)
     Roof Shingles  increased 10% in one month -
                  August 2005

     Copper Pipe & Tubing  increased 15% in 1 year
     Plywood
  prices doubled in many areas in mid 2005
        $28/ sheet not uncommon...and plywood in short
        supply in some places

If I experience a loss to my property, how do I go about reporting it?

Should a loss occur, please notify your agent immediately.  They in turn will notify us with a completed ACORD loss notice.

What are your payment plan options?

We currently offer a 6-pay plan for both Commercial & Personal Lines  AND  a 9-pay plan for ONLY Commercial Lines.  For detailed information regarding our pay plans refer to Direct Bill Program.
NOTE
-  Neither credit card payments nor electronic fund transfers is currently available.  The feasibility of these payment methods remains under investigation.
